It is with a great deal of sadness that I must tell you that we have decided to close down the website after just one day of the survey. 2/3 of the players indicated that they would not even pay $3.00 per month to play on the site. We needed the money to continue to pay for the server costs.
The results of the survey was after I had a bingo tournament with 36 players, so we obviously did not mean anything to the majority of players. For those that agreed to pay the $3.00 - thank you!
I have met some many great and wonderful people because of this site, and for that I will always be thankful.

With the new year quickly approaching we have to ask ourselves what we are going to do with the website. The decline of bingo in Ohio and in other States have made us wonder if the website has any meaning at all to players and bingo operators. We can say that we have awarded prizes and coupons to bingo players in excess of $250,000 in the two plus years we have operated the website while we have collected only a few hundred dollars in revenue.
However, we cannot continue to offer the free site indefinitely. Please answer the question on the new survey posted today. We will have the survey open until January 21st, and the results will tell us how to proceed with the website.

Bingo Closings - Ohio & Virginia
I have been informed that American Legion Post 234 will not play bingo on October 31st and ACO will not play on November 4th.
Due to the storm headed their way, Christ the King bingo at Interstate Bingo in Norfolk, Virginia will not have bingo tonight. (Monday, October 29th)

Bingo Idea-
It is technically possible to play bingo in the same manner that Keno in a casino or a State lottery is played. That is, a player can buy cards for a bingo game to be played some time in the future. A player does not need to be present at the time of the bingo balls being called, but could determine on-line if they have won.
As a security measure, a player could receive the bingo cards in advance of the game being played and would be given the bingo numbers called and the order in which they are called.

New Bingo Tournament Format
I would like to try a new tournament format tonight. We will play five 10 game Quickies with the total pot based on 1,000 points per player and split 50% / 30% / 20%.
The winner of each Quickie will not be eligible to play in the remaining Quickies. However, only the 5 winners will play in a 30 minute Doubler tournament that will start immediately after the last Quickie.
There will be 100,000 total points available in the Doubler finals and it will be split 50% / 30% / 10% / 5% / 5%.
Other players may be in the room to observe and cheer on the participants, but I ask that you please not bingo.
Please join me at 9:30 pm in the Tournament Room for a fast paced bingo tournament.

LCC Bingo On-Line Game
This is a announcement to all Lima players. We are sorry, but we are putting the Monday night Lima Central Catholic on-line game on "hold" for the foreseeable future.
We had an incident in the bingo hall tonight that is not in keeping with the rules and the spirit of the website. A player won a free computer, went to the bingo hall and collected the prize. Had a great time meeting new friends at Toledo's Hollywood Casino on Saturday. I have posted a picture of some of the players at the USABingoPlayers Facebook page. Please join our Community page on Facebook.
I received some suggestions that we will implement starting this week:
1. We will play Battleship Bingo and 10 game Quickie Tournaments every Tuesday from 8 pm - 9 pm.
2. We will play a Doubler Tournament every Wednesday from 8 pm - 9 pm.
3. We will hold Mega Holdem (5,000 buy in) every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 pm.
We will start have unscheduled bingo tournaments throughout the week so that everyone will get a chance to play in the popular tournaments.

Bingo and Poker Tournament
We will have a bingo "Doubler" tournament Saturday (4/14) at 9 pm. No need to qualify for the finals. We will play for one hour and the pot will double every 15 minutes. In addition to lots of points to be won, there will be $10 Walmart Gift Card for the player in first place at the end of the tournament.
There will also be a Mega Walmart Texas Holdem poker tournament on Saturday (4/14) at 7 pm . This means that the buy in will be 5000 points and there will be a $10 Walmart card for the player in first place. If anyone does not have the 5000 buy in, please email bingobob@usabingoplayers.com and I will advance those points to your account so that you can play in the tournament.

April 7th at 8:00 pm we will have the finals for our Texas Holdem Poker Tournament. There will be 6 Satellite Qualifying Tournaments, and the top three places will qualify for the finals. 50,000 points will be won by the top 4 places at the final table on Saturday.
Check the poker lobby for dates and times. Please do not play in a qualifier if you have already qualified for the tournament. The Grand Winner of the tournament will get a $10.00 Walmart gift card from SBB in addition to the points.

We are trying something new. We will play 6 qualifying bingo tournaments this week and the top 3 players will be eligible to play in the finals on Sunday at 10:00 pm. (Sorry so late, but we want to give land bingo players a chance to play in the finals also.)
We will play in the Tournament Room, and we will play the 30 minute "Doubler" format where the pot will double each 10 minutes. This seems to be a popular format with the players since it provides the opportunity for everyone to still win up to the last game of the session.
The qualifiers will be played on the following dates and times:
1. Tuesday at 10:00 pm
2. Wednesday at 8:00 pm
3. Thursday at Noon
4. Friday at 10:00 pm
5. Saturday at 9:00 am
6. Sunday at 9:00 am
In the finals the pot prize will be 50,000 split 50% / 30% / 20%. We will also take up to 5,000 point wagers on winning and paying 18 to 1 odds. The leaders of round 1 and round 2 will win 5,000 points each. A chance to win LOTS of points.
The Grand Winner of the final tournament will also win a $10 Walmart gift card from SBB.
SBB will send an email to all of the finalist with a password to get into the finals.

Unkind Players
I have received several emails dealing with players and their boorish behavior. If you do not wish to see the chat of another player in a bingo room, you can "ignore" their chat by clicking on the player's name displayed in the upper right hand corner of the bingo screen.
This will eliminate that player's chat appearing on your screen.
For all new players, I will again mention that I have NO way of determining when a player will get a bingo. I cannot control what bingo balls are called during a bingo game. I cannot control what cards a player receives. It is all done automatically by the software.
One last warning to players that comment that Sir Bingo Bob is cheating. If it continues, bingo jail is not an option, your account would be terminated. For the life of me, I do not understand why anyone would continue to play if they think I am cheating.
Perhaps it is a "fleeting Utopian ideal" that I have about players being kind to each other, but I ask that you rejoice in each others' victories and console them in their losses. By the way, this applies to more than just bingo!

What are Cafe bingo games?
We play non-hosted bingo tournaments throughout the week. They can be found under the "Cafe Rooms" link after you click on the "Play Bingo" button. The winner of the tournaments will receive coupons to the hall of their choice for the following week, in addition to lots of points.
Tournaments times are as follows:
Breakfast - Plays Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am
Lunchtime - Plays Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 1:00 pm
Dinnertime - Plays each day Sunday - Monday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Poker Tournaments this week
There will be 3 poker tournaments this week:
7 Card Stud No Limit - Finals on Friday, January 27th at 7 pm 50,000 points
4 Qualifiers - Mon / Tues / Wed / Thur at 7 pm - Top 5 qualify
Omaha No Limit - Finals on Saturday, January 28th at 8 pm 50,000 points
4 Qualifiers - Tues / Wed / Thurs / Fri at 8 pm - Top 5 qualify
Texas Holden No Limit - Finals on Sunday, January 29th at 9 pm 50,000 points
7 Qualifiers - Wed / Thurs / Fri / Sat & Sun - Top 3 qualify
There will be a 100,000 point bonus to be split among the top 10 places in all 3 tournaments. The points will be split based on the weighted average of a player's final position in all three tournaments. Player will get a 10 for finishing 1st and a 1 for finishing 10th. For example, If a player wins all three tournaments, they will win 18,100 points (30/165 or 18.1%) in addition to the points won for the 3 first place finishes.

Private poker parties
I have been getting requests from players for their own private poker table so that they may play only with family members and friends. These tables are password protected, and I can not give those to the general audience.
If you would like to create your own private poker party, send me an email with the following information and I can create one for you. You are responsible for contacting your invited guests and giving them the password.
1. Type of game: Texas Holdem, Omaha, 7 Card Stud
2. No Limit or Pot Limit
3. Amount of buy in
4. Starting Chip balance
5. Winning split % - 100%, or 50%, 30%, 20%, etc.
6. Date and time for the game
7. Password that will be assigned to the room
If someone "crashes" your party, it will not be Sir Bingo Bob that has revealed the password.
